The watersheds of the Lac Tremblant Region have important topographical, ecological and heritage features. The mountains, mature forests, wetlands, streams, lakes, and abundant flora and fauna form a vital ecosystem - a priority area at the northern edge of the Mont-Tremblant national park to Oka eco-corridor.
