The watersheds of the Tremblant Eco-Corridor have important topographical, ecological and heritage features. The mountains, mature forests, wetlands, streams, lakes, farmlands and abundant flora and fauna form a vital ecosystem - a priority area extending from the eastern edge of Mont-Tremblant National Park to Oka National Park. Within the Tremblant Eco-Corridor, areas of ultra low density housing can contribute to the conservation objectives by preserving 80% to 95% of the natural untouched landscape.
